Ashton Kutcher Gets 1 Million Followers On Twitter

Published by george1013 at 1:16 pm under Entertainment Edit This

As many of you have already heard, Ashton Kutcher, who goes by aplusk on Twitter, a got his 1 millionth follower recently on Twitter. Incase you are not sure what Twitter is; it’s a social network where people basicly send other Twitter users updates with what they are doing. Some Twitter users use it to post quotes, news updates, or even promote their blogs. So back to Ashton; all I have to say about this is “Big Deal”. Why is this so important? A celeberty who got a million follows doesn’t impress me. Not to mention, when I first signed up with Twitter I was already following Mr. Kutcher for some reason. Ashton was in a race against CNN and Ted Turner to become the first person on Twitter to hit the 1 million mark. I would be impressed if a normal everday nobody got 1 million, but not a movie star. The one thing I did like was that Ashton said he would donate 10,000 mesquito nets to combat malarya if he won the race to 1 million. Since then, there have been a few people on Twitter to hit the 1 million follower mark like CNN, Brittany Spears, and Ted Turner. What will be the next mark that Twitters are striving for 2 million, 5, or even 10? Will Ashton stay on top of the Twitter mountain or ge past by other celebs? I guess you will have to stay tuned and keep tweeting to find out.
